Happiness is a state of mind. It's a perception - an amazing belief .
The mind, just like a muscle, needs training and nurturing. A mind that is left to its own devices absorbs outside influences and accepts them as facts. We accept criticism, opinions and world statistics as facts. A reality that because is written on paper by some name from some university we accept as the truth. We are all guilty of following the crowd when we feel lost at some point or another - this is like 'couch potato for the mind' .
Take off the goggles that society is trying to fix on you and explore your world with your own sight and beliefs.
Beliefs that have found home in you - that you have accepted because everybody else has. Everywhere we see things that are better than what we have, people are better looking, wealthier, happier in love and so on....
Can we stop comparing ourselves to others ? Can we stop focusing on what we don't have forgetting that we already have so much.
When you decide to open your eyes to what life has already given to you, you will be opening the doors to more of what you are appreciating.
Learning to be appreciative is the first step twards wealth, health, love, abundance. Follow your desires of power, wealth, all that is grand in life by counting all your blessings in life...
Practice appreciation...thank yourself for everything that you've done for yourself. Look around you and thank yourself for being so strong, so clever, so loving for providing all that you have and for making the best of what is currently available to you. All that you've done you've always done it with the best intentions at heart because you love yourself and you want the very best for yourself. You deserve all that is good in this world and there's never been any question or doubt about it.
You deserve all that is good in the world - accept it. It is a fact.
All those who have wealth, love, and a joyful life are in that place because nothing else was an option.
Learning to accept that you deserve all good in life is the very first step towards opening all doors to just that.
